The Saint Louis Cardinals are coming off a series win in which they took two-of-three games against the first-place Cincinnati Reds over the weekend--and starting tonight, another huge series is the hand that has been dealt.
Entering the contest tonight, the defending champion Cardinals currently trail the Reds for the division lead by just six games--and own the final Wild Card spot at the moment with a game and a half lead over the Dodgers--and by two games over tonight's opponent, the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Here is a quick glimpse at the lineup that manager Mike Matheny decided to put together for tonight's series opener on the road against the Pirates' starting pitcher AJ Burnett--who by no means has been a slouch at all this season.
