The Saint Louis Cardinals will be sending Joe Kelly to the mound tonight when they look for there third straight win overall; and second straight against the Colorado Rockies.
Kelly will be going up against the Rockies (30-49) Jeff Francis tonight--just hours after hearing the news that ace Chris Carpenter will be having season-ending shoulder surgery in a couple weeks, and will not pitch at all in the 2012 season.
Allen Craig and Matt Holliday will look to stay hot tonight. Both hit home runs in the 9-3 win last night--including two just from Allen Craig. Holliday has been an absolute Rockie-killer for the Cards since leaving his former team.
